Two suspects were apprehended on Loop 202 near Greenfield after the driver of a red vehicle led officials on a high-speed chase across Arizona freeways.
At approximately 12 p.m., officials stopped a red vehicle near US-60 at Gilbert when one of the car’s passengers was seen littering.
A passenger of the vehicle attempted to flee from police on foot, but re-entered the vehicle and sped away from police, according to DPS officials.
The pursuit lasted between 10-15 minutes and ended when officials deployed spikes to stop the vehicle.
At this time, the driver and passenger’s identities are unknown. It is not clear if the driver or passenger suffered any injuries.
