The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly house fire in Mesa.
Rural Metro Fire officials said a man in his 70s was found dead inside a mobile home near Broadway and Hawes Road in east Mesa on Thursday morning.
He was found in the living room by firefighters who had to break in through windows.
The circumstances of the fire are currently unknown, but arson investigators are on scene as part of the investigation. The fire is not considered suspicious at this time.
