A family of four was treated for injuries after a house fire in Mesa on Sunday morning.

Crews from the Mesa and Gilbert fire departments responded to a first alarm house fire near Southern Avenue and Greenfield Road before 8:30 a.m.

Mesa fire officials say a father and his two sons were able to get out of the home, the mother was not able to leave the house immediately.

As crews arrived, they safely rescued the mother.

All four were treated for injuries by fire personnel and are in stable condition at this time.

Fire officials believe the fire started in the back bedroom.
