MESA, AZ — UPDATE: Mesa police say Henri has been located and is safe, out of state with his biological father.

The Mesa Police Department is searching for an 11-year-old boy who went missing Sunday morning.
Mesa police say Henri Ramirez-Sanchez was last seen around 11 a.m. near University and Stapley drives. The family says they left home and when they returned, he was gone.
They also say Henri left his cell phone and locked the door behind him.
He was last seen wearing a blue button-up shirt with blue pants and black shoes. Mesa police say he also left with a blue backpack with clothes in it.
