Mesa police have located a missing teenager.
Tyshon McKenzie, 13, had last been seen in the area of Broadway and Dobson roads around 1 p.m.
According to police, McKenzie left a note for his family apologizing but did not indicate where he was going.
On Monday morning, police said that McKenzie had been safely located and returned to his family.
