MESA, AZ — Mesa Police Department says a mother and her young son who went missing last week have been found safe.
Police say 21-year-old Dalton Pettigrew and her 1-year-old son Brady were last seen at their home near Higley and Baseline roads August 18.
Mesa PD says Dalton contacted them Sunday evening saying both she and Brady are okay.
Family members say they were concerned when Dalton and Brady went missing because Dalton was in a "toxic relationship" with her girlfriend.
