MESA, AZ — The Mesa Police Department has called off the search for a missing 9-year-old boy who ran away from home.
Cole Lewis was found safe after being reported missing around 6:00 a.m. Thursday when he left his home near Signal Butte and Warner roads.

He left on a green Razor scooter and may have a backpack with food with him.
Officials say he has prescribed medication that he did not take with him.
He is described as a White male with brown hair and eyes. He's 4 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs about 85 pounds.
Mesa police did not say where Cole was found but that he is safe and with family.
