MESA, AZ — United Food Bank has a new food distribution schedule at the Mesa Convention Center.
Food will now be distributed once a week, every Friday until August, from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Since March, the organization has been working to feed thousands of families impacted by COVID-19.
One resident waiting in line on Friday was Ernest Warring. He said the food helps his family get by.
"We pray to God all the time that nothing happens and we just take it one day at a time," he said.
If you are in need of food assistance, you do not need to bring anything to the drive-thru event. You will just need to provide your name, address and how many people are in your household.
