MESA, AZ — A six-year-old boy has died after being struck by a semi-trailer as the driver turned at a Mesa intersection.
Mesa Police Detective Nick Rasheta said officers responded to the scene at Power Road and Jensen Street Monday afternoon.
According to Rasheta, six-year-old Holden Gardner was standing with a family member at the corner of the intersection when the semi-truck turned and the back end of the vehicle went onto the curb, hitting Gardner.
