Officials have identified the man shot and killed in Mesa on Tuesday.
Mesa police said 55-year-old Blake Woods was found dead near University and Stapley drives. The alleged shooter has been detained but has not been identified.
According to Mesa police, Woods and the shooter are known acquaintances.
The investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filled.
