MESA, AZ — A woman has been arrested after reportedly posing as a pharmaceutical representative to steal narcotics from care facilities.
On May 22, two witnesses saw Robin Keller, 44, access the pharmaceutical cabinet inside a nursing home near Broadway and Alma School roads, according to police.
When confronted, Keller alleged that she worked for a pharmaceutical agency and was collecting expired drugs. Keller then attempted to flee, and was seen putting a bottle of pills in her pants, according to court paperwork.
Police contacted the pharmaceutical agency and were told that Keller was not affiliated with their organization. The company also said they'd received several calls about a woman posing as a representative to steal narcotics recently.
Mesa police arrested Keller on burglary, dangerous drug possession, and criminal impersonation charges.
