MESA, AZ — Two people are hurt after a crash between a car and a motorcycle in Mesa.
It happened around 11:15 a.m. Sunday near Southern Avenue and MacDonald, west of Center Street, according to the Mesa Fire Department.
Officials say a 72-year-old woman driver was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
A 53-year-old man who was riding the motorcycle was taken to a trauma hospital in critical condition.
The area is expected to be shut down for several hours while the Mesa Police Department investigates.
