CHANDLER, AZ — Authorities are investigating a possible road rage incident near west Chandler.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety says troopers responded after reports of shots fired on Interstate 10 between Chandler Boulevard and Wild Horse Pass.

The victim was found at a gas station just off the highway. Officials say the individual had been shot in the face and was taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition.

It is unknown what led to the shooting. Officials have not provided information regarding whoever shot the victim.
