Authorities are investigating an collision involving a train in Queen Creek Thursday morning.
The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office confirmed that it was assisting the Pinal County Sheriff's Office with the investigation, but deferred inquiries to PCSO.
Navideh Forghani, spokesperson for PCSO, said the train and car collided near Combs and Rittenhouse roads. Restriction are in place so people should avoid the area.
She said there were no injuries and that the vehicle was empty when officials arrived on scene. Deputies are looking for the driver.

Forghani said the train was not hauling and cargo and was not traveling very fast.
She added that it appears that the vehicle that was hit had been driving around the desert and got stuck in the mud before it was hit.
