QUEEN CREEK, AZ — Officials are investigating more than 100 reports of damaged vehicles in the Queen Creek area.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday that there were a “significant number of criminal damage incidents” reported in the area of Sossaman and Queen Creek roads.

The incidents reportedly occurred during the evening and early morning hours Tuesday.

MCSO expects the number of damaged vehicle reports to continue to rise as more people discover damage to their property. So far the total number of reports has reached approximately 120.

A spokesperson for MCSO says there are likely several suspects, driving multiple vehicles. The suspects are allegedly using BB guns to shoot out car windows, kicking in car doors and also breaking windows among other damage.

So far the only description available is that one of the vehicles is dark in color.

MCSO says the Pinal County Sheriff's Office is also assisting in the investigation as they've received about 20 of the calls.

Anyone with information is asked to contact MCSO at 602 876-TIPS or 602 876-1011.
