QUEEN CREEK, AZ — The mayor of the Town of Queen Creek is hospitalized.
Town officials released information Monday saying Mayor Gail Barney has been hospitalized for a lung infection that is unrelated to COVID-19.
"He is making progress and appreciates the well wishes from the community," officials said.
While Mayor Barney recovers Vice Mayor Jeff Brown is assisting with mayoral duties.
