A Tempe man is accused of posing as a veteran by falsifying documents, according to the Arizona Department of a Transportation.
ADOT officials said Eric Wolfe, 45, used fraudulent credentials to defraud several businesses and organizations into giving him veteran benefits.
Wolfe even went as far as partnering with a Valley nonprofit to train dogs for veterans with post-traumatic street disorder, ADOT says. He also used his forged documents to apply for special license plates for veterans.
He was arrested Tuesday and booked into jail.
