TEMPE, AZ — Arizona State University President Michael Crow is planning to resume in-person classes for the fall semester.
According to a letter sent to students and faculty on Thursday, classes will be set to resume on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2020.
“Given that circumstances related to COVID-19 continue to evolve, ASU will implement whatever safety measures and health protocols are necessary to keep students and employees safe,” Crow said in the letter.
The university says it will continue to follow CDC and Arizona health guidelines, and will communicate throughout the summer any changes or plans.
The University of Arizona’s president also announced the plan to have students in class next fall.
