ASU police say the suspect followed the victim from the light rail station and when she tried to get away, he grabbed her and "engaged in sexual activity without her consent." The victim then walked onto the campus where ASU police have jurisdiction.
The suspect is described as "light skinned male, 5'10', bald head, short mustache, last seen wearing a dirty white shirt and jeans," and walked with a limp.
ASU says the suspect is not affiliated with ASU.
Tuesday, ASU police say a sexual assault occurred at a residential hall, also on the Tempe campus. However, police say these two incidents are not believed to be connected.
An arrest has not been made in either sexual assault cases, and ASU Police are currently investigating.
