The man arrested after a weekend Amber Alert in Tempe is out of jail and in the clear.

David Fuller was charged with custodial interference after he took his 8-year-old daughter and another child from their mother. However, he has since been released from jail and cleared of all charges.

“The reason I’m standing here is because I was just there to help,” said David Fuller after his released.

Fuller says his children's mother told police a bunch of lies. He also adds she is battling demons and had been living out of a car begging for money for a long time.

“I had no idea the children were in [the car] with her, until my daughter called me saying she wanted to sleep in a bed,” said Fuller.

Fuller says he took the children out of a desire to get them to a safe place.

Even though he is out of jail, a cloud still looms over this head

“Because it has to do with my daughter, that relief doesn’t exist," said Fuller.

He says he forgives his ex but just wants to get his daughter back.

For that, Fuller needs a family law attorney. He’s set up a GoFundMe to help raise money for that cause. Those who would like to donate can do so by clicking here.
