Authorities are investigating a deadly crash in Tempe involving a wrong way driver.

Troopers with the Department of Transportation received reports regarding a wrong way driver around 2 a.m. Saturday near Loop 202 and McClintock Drive.

A DPS spokesperson says the driver of the wrong way car was pronounced dead at the scene. A driver of a second car was taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The wrong way driver was later identified as 25-year-old Angela Gutierrez of Scottsdale.
At least two cars were involved and ABC15 saw at least one car was had rolled over.
No additional details were immediately released.
