TEMPE, AZ — Firefighters say 12 people were displaced from their homes after a mobile home caught fire in Tempe Sunday evening.
Fire crews were called to the scene near Priest Drive and Baseline Road around 5:30 p.m.
When firefighters arrived, they were able to gain quick control of the first-alarm blaze, limiting damage to just one other unit.
Officials say one firefighter had to be treated for heat exhaustion and another injured their shoulder.
Firefighters say Care 7 is stepping in to help residents displaced by the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
