Firefighters are investigating a hazardous situation in Tempe near Arizona State University.
The Tempe Fire Department received reports about an incident near University Drive and Rural Road around 3 p.m. Monday.
A Tempe fire spokesperson says glassware containing Nitrogen and Nitrate Salt broke and cut two researchers working in a lab.
The two people who suffered lacerations are being treated, however, it's unknown if they will be taken to the hospital.
There are no reports about leaks in the area and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
