Fire officials are investigating what led to a large first-alarm fire overnight in Tempe.
Firefighters from Tempe, Mesa, Scottsdale and Phoenix responded to the area of Scottsdale and Curry Roads, near the Loop 202, around midnight Sunday where they found several vehicles and debris on fire.
The fire threatened many structures, according to the spokesperson, but firefighters were able to stop the fire's movement.

Shortly before 1 a.m. Tempe Fire said the fire was "under control." Fire investigators have arrived at the scene to begin the investigation into how this fire erupted. Firefighters will be there throughout the night to keep any potential hot spots in check.
No injuries were reported.
