Officials have captured a carjacking suspect in Tempe.
Tempe police said a subject pointed a gun at a victim near State Route 143 and University Drive on Wednesday afternoon and took off in the victim’s car.
The suspect has been identified as Rodolfo Avalos, 28. He was taken into custody.
No other information is known at this time.
