At least one person is dead following a crash involving multiple cars in Tempe.

Police were called to Broadway Road and 48th Street around 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
According to the Tempe Police Department, the serious accident involved a motorcycle and two cars.
The area was closed for several hours during the investigation but has since reopened.
No additional information has been released and it's unknown if any charges are being filed.
