TEMPE, AZ — Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in Tempe Wednesday night.
The incident happened around 8:40 p.m. in the Copenhagen Imports parking lot near Loop 101 and Southern Avenue.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a man with an apparent gunshot wound.
Officers performed life saving measures before the man was transported to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Authorities believe the victim and suspect are known to each other. Police are still searching for the suspect who fled the scene.
