A serious crash between a motorcycle and a city bus shut down McClintock Road from Curry Road to Loop 202 Friday afternoon.
According to the Salt River Police Department, the motorcycle rider was airlifted to the hospital after the collision.
McClintock Road was closed for about four hours as police worked to clear the scene.
The road reopened around 9:30 p.m.
