A woman is accused of fleeing the scene of a car accident after crashing at Arizona State University and leaving her two children inside the vehicle.
Around 3 p.m. on Sunday, Arizona State University police tweeted that they were investigating an incident on campus.

According to Tempe Police, Christina Castanon struck a vehicle near University and Forrest before fleeing on foot. Castanon reportedly left her two children, believed to be 7 and 9 years old, behind in the vehicle where they were located by police.
ASU officers found Castanon about 30 minutes later and detained her until Tempe Police arrived.
Castanon's children were placed with their grandfather, police said.
Castanon was booked on two counts of endangerment and one count of hit and run.
