A neighborhood was evacuated due to a potentially hazardous situation in Tempe.
Tempe police were called to the area of Mill and Southern avenues around 8:45 p.m. Thursday after receiving reports about an “unknown substance,” a Tempe police spokeswoman said.
A neighbor tells ABC15 that they were walking in an alley with their dog when they discovered three canisters labeled "racing fuel" near the train tracks.

Tempe police tweeted that the drums are possibly filled with flammable liquid.
The Tempe Police and Fire Departments are investigating the incident. It's unknown how the barrels got to the area or why they're there.
No additional information was immediately available and we're waiting for an update from authorities.
