Thousands of customers were left without power late Friday morning after a truck knocked down several power lines in Avondale.
The boom of the truck reportedly hit the lines, affecting power to more than 3,000 APS customers in Goodyear.
As of 12:40 p.m., nearly 600 people were still without power from Western Avenue to Lower Buckeye Road and Litchfield Road to the Agua Fria River.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported when the lines were downed.
