A brush fire burning in Buckeye has been 100 percent contained, according to the Buckeye Fire Department.
Chief Costello said the fire burned about 15 acres and was located adjacent to a fire that sparked last week in the area.
This marked the third fire within the Gila River bottom this season.
The first was first reported at 12:30 p.m. near Beloat and Watson roads.
No structures were threatened and no injuries reported.
