Multiple Valley agencies searched for a suspect in the Buckeye area overnight.
The Department of Public Safety said at 12:50 a.m. on Friday, a trooper attempted to stop two vehicles traveling at a high rate of speed on State Route 85 at milepost 121.
A trooper was able to stop one vehicle but the suspect in the second vehicle fled from his vehicle near the Gila River Bridge.
DPS, MCSO and Border Patrol set up a perimeter to search for the suspect but were not able to locate him.
According to DPS, the vehicles were believed to be carrying drugs.
