A high school in Buckeye was placed on "lockout" after reports that a student possibly brought a gun to school.
"VERRADO HIGH IS ON LOCKOUT. All students are SAFE," the Buckeye Police Department said in a Wednesday morning tweet.
Police say there were reports of a gun on campus this morning. After speaking with students, it appears a student from another school possibly had a gun and was on campus but left before police arrived.
Police are still searching for that student to question them.
Officers will remain at the school for the remainder of the day as a precaution.
