Buckeye police are investigating the abduction of a 3-year-old girl after the child was reportedly taken by a non-custodial parent.

Mercedes Emma Binns was last seen Thursday, when she was taken by her mother from her babysitter's home near Apache Boulevard and Monroe Avenue.

Police said 28-year-old Roxanna Lararmart has no custodial rights to Mercedes.

The 3-year-old was last seen wearing a pink and white shirt and pink shorts. Lararmart was wearing a black shirt, black pants, and has long black hair.

There is no vehicle information for Lararmart, but she was last seen walking away with her daughter in a faded black and red stroller.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Roxanna or Mercedes is asked to contact the Buckeye Police Department at 623-349-6400.
