BUCKEYE, AZ — One person is dead and another is injured following a motorcycle crash in front of a Love's on Miller Road south of I-10 in Buckeye, according to Buckeye police.
The two motorcyclists involved in the deadly crash were riding with a group of friends when their motorcycles went down, Buckeye police say.
One of the motorcyclists was injured but alert and talking when police and paramedics arrived.
The second motorcyclist was transported to the hospital with severe injuries where he was later pronounced dead. On Monday, police identified the rider as 19-year-old Edgar Miguel Acevedo from Illinois, who was living in Phoenix.
Buckeye police say the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
