A cow needed to be put down after a collision with a Buckeye police vehicle early Friday morning.
Buckeye police said one of their officers was involved in a single vehicle crash with a loose cow in the area of MC-85 and Airport Road.
The officer was uninjured but did crash into a utility pole during the crash.
It is unclear how the cow got onto the roadway.
