BUCKEYE, AZ — A nearly 50-acre brush fire is burning southwest of Buckeye.
Arizona State Forestry said late Monday morning the “Robbins Fire” started Sunday night in the Robbins Butte Game Preserve area.
Firefighters say the fire is 80% contained as of Monday night.

Officials said Monday to expect heavy smoke due to vegetation the fire is burning through, but crews are working to clear fuels ahead of the fire.
It’s unknown what caused this blaze or if there is any percentage of containment.
