GLENDALE, AZ — Police are investigating after two men were shot during a fight in a Westgate parking lot Tuesday afternoon.
Officers were called to the area near 91st and Glendale avenues around 4:30 p.m. after reports of a shooting.
Glendale Police Officer Tiffany Ngalula said witnesses told police that there was an altercation between two groups in the parking lot, and at some point people from each of the groups opened fire.
Two men were shot and are both being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the shooting and Ngalula said they do not believe there are any further threats to the public as it was an isolated incident.
As of 5:30 p.m., a large police presence could still be seen in the parking lot as tape blocked off part of the area. Watch live Air15 video below.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
