Officials are investigating after a vehicle with a 6-year-old boy inside was shot at in Glendale.
Glendale police said the incident happened around 3:45 p.m. near 59th Avenue and Camelback Road.
According to police, parents of the 6-year-old said they were sitting in their vehicle near 58th Avenue and Camelback Road when an unknown person fired rounds at the vehicle.
The parents were able to drive to 59th Avenue and went into a business to wait for police.
The boy was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Glendale police said it is unclear if the child was actually shot or sustain injuries from something else.
There is no suspect description at this time.
