GLENDALE, AZ — Finding a forever family for foster kids can be a long and painful process.
Thankfully, Brent and Jaime Shawl have opened their hearts and their home to 15 Arizona foster kids over the past six years.
With guidance from Arizona's Children Association, the Shawls are now the proud adoptive parents of four children.
Sadly though, not every child is so lucky.
ABC15 is teaming up with American Furniture Warehouse to help ease what can be a traumatic transition into foster care.
We hope you can help too by donating things like new blankets, stuffed animals, journals and personal care items.
Donations are being accepted through the end of February at the American Furniture Warehouse locations in Glendale and Gilbert.
