GLENDALE, AZ — An 18-month-old girl has died after being pulled from a Glendale pool Sunday evening.
Officials were called to the area of 75th Avenue and Deer Valley Road for reports of a child in a pool around 5:30 p.m.
Police say aid was given to the child before she was taken to a hospital. She was later pronounced dead, officials confirmed Monday morning.
Glendale police say the child was visiting the home when the incident happened and the pool was fenced.
The investigation is ongoing regarding who was watching the child at the time and how the child got into the pool area.
No charges have been filed at this time.
