A 1-year-old child is reportedly in critical condition after being found not breathing in a Glendale home Wednesday night.
Glendale police and fire personnel responded to a home near 51st Avenue and Bethany Home Road shortly before 7 p.m for a report of a child found in their crib not breathing.
Officials say a Glendale officer arrived first on scene and began CPR until paramedics arrived.
The child was taken to a local hospital and is undergoing treatment.
Detectives have been called to the scene to investigate.
