GLENDALE, AZ — A motorcyclist has life-threatening injuries following a collision involving a vehicle in Glendale on Sunday morning.
According to Glendale police, around 8:45 a.m. officers responded to the crash at 59th Avenue and Utopia Road.
The rider was traveling southbound through the intersection and collided with a vehicle that was traveling northbound making a left turn, police said.
Police say the rider, a man, was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident and was transported to the hospital.
The two occupants inside the vehicle at the time of the crash were not hurt.
Impairment does not appear to be a factor in the crash but speed is under investigation at this time, police said.
According to police, no arrests have been made.
