Glendale police are requesting the public's help in tracking down a man accused of multiple sexual assaults.

Police were contacted by a woman on September 5th, around 11 p.m. saying that she was sexually assaulted by a man in a park area near 54th Avenue and Columbine Road.

The woman said she met the man while responding as an escort to an online ad. When she arrived, the man told her he was an undercover police officer, and that if she cooperated he would let her go and not arrest her.

She described the suspect to police as a white man in his late twenties, about 5'9 and weighing around 170 lbs, with a patchy beard.

In a another incident, Glendale police received a report on November 9th, around 2 a.m. from a second victim who described a similar encounter.

She met a man at the same location, who claimed to be a police officer. She was assaulted multiple times by the suspect in different areas of the park.

Police believe the suspect is the same man from the first incident due to the similarities. Also, because in both incidents the male answered an online ad for an escort type service.

Glendale police encourage anyone with information regarding these cases to please call the Glendale Police Department or Silent Witness at 480-Witness.
