GLENDALE, AZ — Police are searching for a suspect who shot and killed a man near Glendale Community College Saturday night.
The incident happened at the Veranda apartment complex near 59th and Olive avenues around 5:50 p.m.
Police tell ABC15, the man was shot in the courtyard area of the complex after some type of altercation broke out.
Officers searched the area for more than an hour, but were unable to find the suspect who is described as a black man in his mid-50s with a medium build and dark hair.

Authorities say the victim, Damon Odell Frye, 31, suffered life-threatening injuries and later died at the hospital.
