GLENDALE, AZ — A pedestrian is in serious condition after being struck by a car in Glendale Tuesday night.
Rescue crews were called to the scene near 59th and Maryland avenues around 9:40 p.m.
Police tell ABC15, an adult female was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
It is unclear at this time if she was in a crosswalk or not when the accident happened.
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with police.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. The victim is not being identified at this time.
