The Glendale Police and Fire Departments are investigating a deadly car crash.
Authorities received reports around 4 p.m. on Saturday about an accident involving multiple cars at the intersection of 59th and Northern avenues.
According to officials, a car was driving eastbound on Northern Avenue and was turning left onto 59th Avenue when it was struck by an SUV.
The driver of the car turning onto 59th Avenue was declared dead at the scene, police said.
Sunday afternoon, authorities said the victim's name was 57-year-old Susan Voss.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident and charges are unknown at this time. Speed and impairment are not believed to be factors in the crash, police said.
