Officials are investigating after two homes caught fire in Glendale.
Glendale fire said when they arrived near 51th Avenue and Olive at 1:00 a.m., one house was fully engulfed and the fire spread to another house.
Firefighters found a resident in the backyard of the original home on fire. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The house where the fire started is considered a total loss. The second home has damage to the garage area.
Four people who live in the second home have been displaced due to the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
