PHOENIX — Glendale police are investigating a man found dead on a fence at an apartment complex early Wednesday morning.
Police say officers were called to the area of 47th Avenue and Bethany Home Road around 5:30 a.m.
Officers discovered the man hanging upside down from the metal fencing.
It’s believed that the man was attempting to climb over the fence when he fell and became stuck.
According to initial reports, the man is believed to be a transient in the area and evidence of drug use was present.
Police have not determined the cause of death or released his identity.
Officials believe the victim was stuck for about three hours before he was discovered.
